About Salt & Light
Salt and Light is the Young Adult Group at Ridgeview for ages 18-24. We recognize that we are a part of God’s plan to bring flavor and lumination to the world. We strive to walk with Jesus as He saves our generation.
When & Where
Join us each Sunday night from 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM. Meet in the Student Ministry Building behind Ridgeview Church the first four weeks each month. For every 5th Sunday, we have social events off campus.
What We Do
We gather for worship and dig into God's Word to grow and sharpen each other. You can catch us on the sand volleyball court, playing games together, hanging by the firepit, and other planned social events & activities to connect.

Pastor Brian Rushing
I grew up at Ridgeview Church, interned in the youth group as a high school student, and served as Youth Pastor as a young adult. I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor's degree in English, taught in the public school system for 10 years, and earned my Master's degree in Education Administration. I am married to Chanel, my high school sweetheart, and we have three children. I am thrilled to be serving in ministry at Ridgeview Church and I can’t wait to see what God does with this young adult ministry!
